Description
A vintage 1930's traveling salesman's carrying case for Wear-Ever Aluminum Utensils. From the bygone era of door to door sales this case is in nice vintage condition. It's structurally sound with scuffs and scrapes as one would expect for it's age and original use. The corner pieces are leather. The handle is strong and secure and usable for carrying the case although it has lost some of it's leather cover as you can see in the pictures. The interior is in good shape with a small tear to the lining behind the latch on the right side and it could use a cleaning depending on what you're going to use this for. The best part... the graphics on the inside of the lid are in very nice shape with a couple small tears along the top edge and someone named W.G. Uhlir has written their name on it in pen. Perhaps the original salesman?? The two latches work although it will take two hands and a little fiddling to get them to catch and uncatch. This is a rather good sized case, it measures about 24" x 14" x 9".Please see the photos for details. I am happy to answer any questions before purchase and will combine shipping whenever possible.
