    1936 Salt Lake City advertising fan. “City Fan” - a portmanteau advertising stick fan for the city of Salt Lake City, Utah. 20 different businesses, from shoe rebuilders to used car lot, to “lunch at the White Spot” drive-in. The idea was copyright 1936. The fan’s cardboard leaf is fitted into a notch in the wooden handle, stapled from the back. Handle 11” and fan leaf 9.25” at the widest.
