HERE IS A 1970 NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY VS. COLORADO STATE FOOTBALL PROGRAM.
THIS GAME WAS PLAYED SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 1970.  MEASURES 8 1/2" X 11" AND IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
THE PROGRAM IS SIGNED BY 3 MEMBERS OF THE AGGIES FOOTBALL PROGRAM, INCLUDING HEAD COACH JIM WOOD.   PLAYERS JAMES AUSTIN AND BOBBY SMITH SIGNED ALSO.
DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS  WAS LOU HENSON.  (LOU HENSON GAINED FAME AS THE HEAD BASKETBALL COACH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS.  HE COACHED AT ILLINOIS FROM 1975-1996.  MR. HENSON COACHED AT NEW MEXICO STATE FROM 1966-1975, AND AGAIN FROM 1997-2005.  LOU HENSON AMASSED A CAREER WON/LOSS RECORD OF 779-422.).
JIM WOOD WAS THE HEAD COACH AT NEW MEXICO STATE FOR 5 YEARS---FROM 1968-1972.  HIS WON/LOSS RECORD WAS 21-30-1.
***AMONG THE COLORADO STATE PLAYERS WAS LAWRENCE McCUTCHEON, A TAILBACK WHO WOULD GO ON TO GAIN FAME IN THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE.
