  • Condition: Brand new brake line adapter fitting. This adapter is commonly useful when adapting a new MC with different port sizes to the factory brake lines when the new MC has different thread size than the original MC setup. For this adapter it will fit a MC port size of 7/16-24 (inverted flare) and adapt to a male tube nut on the factory brake line of 1/2-20 (inverted flare) thread size.     Hi quality Edelmann brass hydraulic brake line adapter fitting. This fitting has many uses. Pictures are stock photos. Fittings are all high quality, high pressure brass adapters.
    NOTE:
    This adapter has a seat that is larger & looks like it is designed to work fittings that uses 5/16" tubing on the 1/2" female side
    .
    The male side looks like it is designed to connect to a 1/4" tubing seat size.
    Look closely at your original to see if this is appropriate before your purchase.
    As a reference regarding most flare seat sizes, this is the normal size fittings included when you purchase pre-made brake or fuel lines.
    Bottom line, larger tubing, larger fitting, larger seat for standard pre-made tubing. Be aware that your tubing may be different though.
    Tubing sizes:
    3/16" tubing - 3/8-24 tube nut
    1/4" tubing - 7/16-24 tube nut
    5/16" tubing - 1/2-20 tube nut
    NOTE:
    your results and needs may vary, so please purchase these fittings knowing that they do not all have the same seat sizes. We have larger adapter designed for the small 3/16" tubing size seat and smaller adapters such as this one that have a slightly larger seat size.
