The sizes of this adapter are as follow:
Male - 1/2-20 inverted flare.
Female: 3/8-24 inverted flare.
This adapter is also commonly referred as a 5/16 to 3/16 adapter (those are the common tube sizes) This may not be the case with your setup, so please confirm your actual thread sizes.
A 3/16" brake line is the most common brake line size that has a male 3/8-24 (for the female fitting size of this adapter) Your actual project may be different so please confirm your thread sizes prior to making a purchase.
This adapter has seat sizes as follows: 1/2-20 male side is larger than the female 3/8-24 size. The male side looks like the flare seat for a 1/4" line & the female is small for the 3/16" tubing size seats. If this is unclear please message me for help. If necessary I can take close-up photos for you.
