    Description

This is a vintage training aid for mechanics and machinists that was used at Luke Air Force Base. This is a broken spur gear shaft. It came out of a J-69 jet engine. It is a failed piece that was recycled for training. The expansion of the metal has cracked the acrylic. It lists the TSOH and what looks to be the alloy composition for each one. It is about 5" tall, 3 1/2" wide and 3" deep.
