    Description

    Minneapolis-Moline Advertising Dixie Cup, in beautiful unused condition.  8 FL.OZ practical capacity, No. 4108 Special Design, Hot Drink Dixie, by Dixie Cup Co., Easton, PA.  Ad copy states, "Pioneers of Progress, Visionlined Tractors, Harvestors, Huskors, Famous Farm Machinery".  I believe that this cup is from the 1950's.
    I bought the cup in the 1970s at the closing auction of a hardware store that had previously been a Minneapolis-Moline dealer.  The bright lighting used when taking the photographs shows the cup as it originally appeared. But during the half-century that has passed since I bought the cup, the color has aged to more of a cream-colored appearance.  Thank you for looking at this auction, and good luck if you decide to bid.
