    White enamel disc inset into pewter lid, artwork appears to be a family crest, name is
    THOMAS HEALY,  with banner of New York below the crest
    Age unknown.  Stamped into the underside of the pewter lid is the name Cowans Chicago Specialty Metals.  Assume that this is the manufacturer of the lid only,  or the entire stein?  Origin of the completed stein is probably United States.
    Bubbles and striations in the glass appear to be part of the design.
